About The Toon Club - Who we are?

Toon Club is a division of Climb Media (I) Pvt. Ltd. and sister concern of 2nz Animation Co. the President’s National award winning company that has created award-winning animation series Adventures of Chhota Birbal (shown on Cartoon Network in 2003/04) and the Deewana Tiger seen online during World cup cricket on Sony MAX. 2nz has conceptualized and executed feature film 2D animation for Kunal Kohli’s hit film “Thoda Pyaar, Thoda Magic” and the entire pre-production for India’s first 3D Animation – Live action feature film “Toonpur Ka Superhero” currently in production.

2nz has also been responsible for doing the creative visualization and animation for famous music videos like Amitabh Bachchan’s Eir Bir Phatte and the award-winning special effects song Chal Hutt for the feature film "Shaadi ka Laddoo".

Here's a brief on the Key Team members:

Bhimsain (Founder, President)
Considered to be pioneer of Indian Animation and Veteran of Parallel cinema, Bhimsain won the President’s National Award 16 times. He is the creator of award-winning feature films like Gharaonda and Doooriyan, which fetched 6 Filmfare awards, 7 Int’l awards besides more than 30 other awards. He was awarded “Life-time Achievement” by FICCI- Frames and Arena Aptech.


Tehzeeb Khurana (Principal Faculty and Director)
Acclaimed animator – Tehzeeb studied cartooning under Mario Miranda. She has revolutionized the way animation is taught to children in India with her successful foray. She has worked on many successful ad campaigns, show packaging and has a thorough and in-depth knowledge of Animation Art and History.Tehzeeb was also the Animation Director for the 2D animation sequences for Kunal Kohli’s                         feature film “Thoda Pyaar, Thoda Magic". Tehzeeb is also the Technical                         Director at “Maac Junior Toon Club”.
 

Kireet Khurana (Course Designer)
Kireet is a High- Honours graduate from Sheridan College, Canada considered to be the finest animation college and home to many Oscar winning animators. He has also won 5 President's National Awards and 2 International Awards for his animation films. He is also the Director for the upcoming 3D Animation – Live Action feature film “Toonpur Ka Superhero”.

Our Associations
Pioneering the cause of teaching animation to children in India, Toon Club has launched a joint venture – “Maac Junior Toon Club” with leading Animation training Organization MAAC.
